The FAQs tab in the deck editor is where you add questions and answers that Sales CoPilot uses during live presentations. When a homeowner asks something that matches one of your FAQs, they hear your exact wording — spoken aloud — rather than an AI-generated response. This is the best way to ensure predictable, on-brand answers to questions you know will come up: pricing, warranty, timeline, financing, or anything competitors often get asked about.

Add a FAQ

In the FAQs tab, click Add FAQ. A dialog opens with:
  • Question — write the question as a homeowner would ask it, e.g. “Do I need a new roof before installing solar?” Sales CoPilot uses this to match similar phrasings automatically, so you don’t need to add every variation.
  • Canned Answer — your pre-written response. This is what gets spoken to the homeowner, word for word.
  • Related Slide (Optional) — link this FAQ to a specific slide. When the question is matched, Sales CoPilot can navigate the homeowner back to the relevant part of the presentation.
Click Save and audio is generated for the answer automatically. You’ll see an Audio Ready indicator when it’s done.

Edit or delete a FAQ

Each FAQ in the list has edit and delete buttons. Updating the answer text will re-generate the audio automatically.

Q&A experience settings

At the top of the FAQs tab, there are two prompt settings that control what Sales CoPilot says after answering a question:
  • Transition Prompt Text — plays immediately after the answer, e.g. “I hope that helps!”
  • Resume Prompt Text — plays after the transition, asking if the homeowner wants to continue, e.g. “Would you like to pick up where we left off?”
After editing either prompt, click Save Prompt, then Generate Audio to update the spoken version.

What happens when there’s no matching FAQ

If a homeowner asks something that doesn’t match any of your FAQs, Sales CoPilot generates a response from the content of the current slide. The homeowner always gets an answer — FAQs just make it more precise for the questions you care about most.
